Fast, Free Shipping
Avalon offers fast and free shipping on all orders and to anywhere within Australia. All our products are in stock at the Melbourne warehouse and sent out directly to your designated address via Australia Post. Once you’ve placed an order online, it is dispatched either on the same or on the following business day. Please note that weekend orders are sent out on the following Monday.
Delivery Time
Once your order leaves our warehouse you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us. The email will include tracking information and an estimated arrival date for your order. If you haven’t received a confirmation email from us, please check your spam or junk email folder (Hotmail and Live users especially). You can also track your order by visiting the order tracking page. Our estimated delivery time for all orders is 4 to 7 working days within Australia.
Receiving Your Order
Your order will be delivered by Australia Post. They require a signature on delivery and will normally not leave the parcel unattended. If there is no one at the address to receive the delivery, the postman will leave a note for you to pickup the parcel from your nearest post office.
Pickup Service
Avalon does not currently offer a pickup service, sorry. All orders are sent out directly from our Melbourne warehouse via Australia Post. Delivery is fast and free.

I have had a pair of Pantax 20×50 Binoculars which were great. I am finding that the 20×50 Avalon seem to be a bit hazy at the moment I will be testing them once the weather clears up. I can see out to sea for about 20km’s on a clear day so I am waiting to see weather the Avalon lives upto it’s marketing.

It grieves me to put a bad review of these binoculars, bearing in mind, that Avalon Optics has been so professional in their dealings with me. If I could rate the company and their service, they would get five stars.
But sadly I can only agree with Jan V and Mark Pancoast (earlier reviews). I have a pair of Eschenbach 10×50 binoculars that were purchased some 25 years ago. These are still a very good pair of binoculars, but I wanted something with greater magnification. For me, these didn’t do the job, the magnification was no different from my 10×50’s and also the subject matter was less clear than viewing through my Eschenbach’s.
Luckily, I saved all of the packaging, and didn’t open the bag with the strap in it and the bag containing the cleaning cloth. Because of this I was able to get a full refund (not the cost of return though).

A big disappointment. I have been struggling for four months since April with it and now I threw it finally to the bin. I bought it in a hope to gain greater magnification to my Pentax 12×50 PCF WPII, but I found optics and ergonomic of eyepiece of Avalon 20×50 very poor.
