Avalon offers fast and free shipping on all orders and to anywhere within Australia. All our products are in stock at the Melbourne warehouse and sent out directly to your designated address via Australia Post. Delivery Time
Once your order leaves our warehouse you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us. The email will include tracking information and an estimated arrival date for your order. If you haven’t received a confirmation email from us, please check your spam or junk email folder (Hotmail and Live users especially). You can also track your order by visiting the order tracking page. Our estimated delivery time for all orders is 4 to 7 working days within Australia.
Receiving Your Order
Your order will be delivered by Australia Post. They require a signature on delivery and will normally not leave the parcel unattended. If there is no one at the address to receive the delivery, the postman will leave a note for you to pickup the parcel from your nearest post office.
Pickup Service
Avalon does not currently offer a pickup service, sorry. All orders are sent out directly from our Melbourne warehouse via Australia Post. Delivery is fast and free.

Good ergonomics and optically not too bad, but close focus distance of the pair purchased is around twice that quoted in specs (so ~ 6 m) and ease or otherwise of the diopter ring adjustment is dependant on looseness of the right ocular lens (not good).

The focus on what we needed to look at was good but he and I spent most of the game just watching without them.

I am not an avid bird watcher so don’t know how these binoculars compare with others. I just wanted something that was compact, lightweight, clear viewing and that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and that’s what I got. I do wear glasses and found this a bit tricky. Kept bumping my glasses, but I don’t think the binocular manufacturers can do much more than they are already doing to accommodate this. For what I want them for they are good.
